Rice and Steamed Vegtables
I have a rice cooker, so rice is super easy, and adding some vegtables adds a bit of flavour and a bit more much needed nutrients.
- Steamed broccoli
- Canned beans
- Fried tomatoes
- Steamed carrots
Bacon
Bacon is super easy, and good for protein. Unfortuately not very filling on it's own, but it's better than nothing
- You can bake bacon in the oven, my sibling suggested it to me and it works pretty well when you want to put absolutely 0 effort in, just remember to turn it off.
- Classic style. Just put some bacon in a pan big enough on low heat, and just drag a chair into the kitchen so you can keep an eye on it.
Toast
A struggle meal classic. Works if you're too depressed, too broke, or both. Some things that you can add to
- Honey (honey butter toast is soo good, it can cure your depression)
- Jam
- Peanut butter
Sandwhiches
Another struggle meal classic, I'm gonna list some basic and easy sandwhich combinations. But go hog wild, this is just things that are likely to be in my home at any given time.
- Cheese and bacon
- Bacon and lettuce
- PB+J
- Lettuce and cheese
- Chicken and lettuce
Cereal
Simple, filling, can be eaten in bed if you're careful.
Oatmeal
I know some people find oatmeal boring, but I was raised on the stuff and I love it.
